Buyer wants me to Delay Shipping

Question

My buyer informed me that he wants me to delay shipping for 2 weeks because he will be out of town. How do I protect my Seller Level, specifically the Late Shipment Rate, from reflecting negatively due his request?

You can let this Buyer know that you need to ship on time or it will jeopardize your account with eBay. And it will. You will get a late shipment defect. Let them know you need to ship by xxx or you can cancel and they can repurchase on their return.
