Buyer wants full refund for damages caused by shipper.
I have an item that was sent to a buyer, it allegedly was damaged during shipping, it is a car part, I have asked for proof of the shipping containers damage, they have not provided that. I can’t be sure they are showing me the damage to their original part and trying to get the one I sold them for free. Why do I have to be out of pocket for something that is not in my control? He also is stating he used a third party shipper to ship it to him in Costa Rica, when the order was delivered to a Florida address. It all seems very fishy to me.

Mentor5 months agoThe buyer used a freight forwarder, so the damage could have occured between the freight forwarder to the buyer. Therefore, ebay's Money Back Guarantee does not apply. The buyer needs to file a complaint with the freight forwarder.
