buyer wants combined shipping
an auction closed. now the buyer says he wants to wait to pay as he is bidding on another item i'm selling (he didn't say which item) and wants me to combine the items for shipping. is this allowed? seems fishy, and i'd have to recalulate shipping. he didn't ask if this was ok before the auction ended.

It is very common for sellers to offer combined shipping, but you do not have to. You can tell the buyer that you are not able to combine shipping and he should pay for the item he already won.
This will probably cost you a repeat buyer, and may earn you less than positive feedback, but it is always your choice..
