Buyer wants a refunded claiming item is defective because they can't get batteries to fit in it.
A buyer bought a decorative lantern from me that requires C type batteries.
They messaged me wanting a full refund + shipping claiming it's defective because they couldn't get AA or C batteries to fit in there.
My listing description stated that it takes C batteries and that the listing did not include batteries. I also included a photo of C batteries in the battery slots making sure "C" was visible.
I do not have the option to decline the request refund because the buyer chose "defective" as their reasoning.
Is there any way to get help with this?
The buyer sent me a few messages about it and when I replied with the photo of the batteries in the lantern and that C batteries do it, they didn't say anything back.
I have tried to find a way to contact eBay support, but I keep clicking in circles.
Do I really have to bite the bullet on this?
