Buyer wants a delayed shipment

Question

I'm so kinda lost on how I can delay shipping the item for my customer without getting docked by eBay for late shipping she wants me to wait on sending it because she won't be home until Oct 1st ....can anyone tell me what I should do here?

If you do not regularly ship late, one late shipment won't hurt your metrics. If you already have some late shipments in the past, you can Cancel the transaction/refund the buyer. Then relist the item after the buyer is able to receive the package and ship after payment is made again.
