buyer wanted a refund
I shipped an item and it was in perfect condition. The buyer requested a return/refund because the item was damaged.(a piece broken) They sent pictures. I have already responded and refunded the buyer. My question is should I message the buyer. I want to be a great seller. Just thought it would be good customer service but I'm new to this so I wasn't sure.

Mentor2 years agoIf you refunded the buyer, that means you don't want the item back. I have only done that in one case when the ceramic item arrived broken, and I did not want to pay to have a 3 pound item returned from New York to California.
In the future, if you want the item back, you agree to the return, and ebay will provide a prepaid shipping label. When tracking shows DELIVERED back to you, you then have 2 days to refund the buyer.
