Buyer used incorrect return label – I was charged by USPS
I’m contacting you regarding a return from a buyer for item #396221176197 (J.Crew Women’s Waxed Canvas Jacket – Size M). The buyer printed and used a return shipping label that did not match the correct postage based on the weight and size of the package. As a result, USPS has charged me a postage adjustment fee.
The return was supposed to be at the buyer’s expense, as clearly stated in the listing. However, I’m now being penalized for the incorrect label used by the buyer.
Please review this case and let me know how I can be reimbursed or protected from charges that were not my responsibility.
Thank you for your help.
