Buyer trying to return different item back
I recently sold a working Nintendo switch and the buyer is attempting to return it with the explanation that it is not working correctly. I asked the buyer to send me a photo of the error screen, and they replied with a very dark and badly lit image of the Nintendo switch. I quickly realized it was a different Nintendo switch due to marks and dirt on the control surfaces. I cannot contact a live representative to state my case. the buyer has less than 20 feedback and their account was opened January 2025, I have had my account over 15 years with over 400 transactions. what can I do? Who do I call? Does anyone have a contact telephone number? Thanks in advance.

OP1 year agoUpdate: after attempting to convince the buyer to send me more images of the condition of the item he won, I reluctantly accepted the return process just before The deadline. 30 minutes after I paid for a mailing label the buyer canceled the return process. I’m guessing it was not gonna be as simple as just requesting your money back. After contacting A eBay customer service rep, they advised me to just accept the return process, and if anything was wrong or missing with the contents of the return package, I could intern submit a claim against the buyer. So that is what I did and it worked.
