Buyer tries to claim that I sent a fake
I sell vintage football shirts and a buyer has requested a return saying it is not the same shirt. I have checked the photos and the item is the same type of shirt but a total obvious fake. They are obviously trying to claim I sent them that shirt and when eBay accept their return will keep my real one and send the fake one back and get their money refunded. This is £150 item vs their £10 fake. Their most recent “positive†feedback is off someone else they’ve scammed saying they did the exact same thing to them. I tried calling eBay and explaining the situation and as the person is in Italy they’ve passed the case onto the Italian eBay team. Do I have any chance of eBay siding with me? I’m a shop with 100% positive feedback and this buyer has feedback showing he has scammed before? Any advice would be great!
