Buyer took apart a CLA'd camera item, claims an internal part is missing , demands REFUND
Hi Community,
A buyer recently purchased a used , fully functional, film camera off me. In my description I've included all I knew about camera's history and condition - I bought it used, had it CLA'd at a photo service shop in NYC and was now selling it b/c I barely used it since.
Buyer received the camera, shot test rolls, confirmed all of the functions of viewfinder, shutter, aperture, winding but then proceeded to take the camera apart ( he sent me photos ) claiming a small part was missing internally that affected how well the framing lines appeared in the viewfinder ( this is a rangefinder camera). He claims that a small piece is missing internally that's affecting this. This feels incredibly sketchy that he took it apart himself, not at a photo service shop and is now asking for a refund based on this, claiming my description was false. To add, buyer also DECLINED to see the CLA receipt that mentions nothing in regards to any missing parts.
What to do? How does ebay address this?
