Buyer threatening, bullying me because I won’t refund him 50% and let him keep item
Buyer messages that purchase was delivered damaged and Wants 50% return to him I said no that wasn’t appropriate. He sends me a huge message through eBay that the item was damaged from shipping, then accuses me of not disclosing the damage in my listing. He’s threatened to report me to eBay and he’s already talked to his credit card company late last night. I asked him to stop messaging me because he was intentionally being intimidating and bullying me. Late last night, I get a return request with the option to offer him a partial refund which I did for 25% And crickets-no response. I honestly feel like he’s trying to get a full refund and not return the purchase, but that would be very hard to prove unless there’s a way I could contact eBay customer service and let them know that based on our conversation chats through eBay messaging, this bogus return request is a result of my refusal to be bullied into giving him 50% of a refund and keep the item, as well as not responding to my partial refund gesture. What should I do next? Thank you in advance to everyone who responds-I appreciate your time, support snd advice!

Mentor8 months agoYou ask the buyer for photos of the outer box, the shipping label, the inner packaging, the damaged item. You tell the buyer to then set all of that aside in case the carrier wants to examine it all, because you are going to refund when you get the photos and then file an insurance claim with the carrier. Let us know what happens.
