Buyer threatened me and left fake negative feedback statement after order was justifiably cancelled
I mistakenly listed a one-of-a-kind item that didn't belong to me and I wasn't aware of it's rareity- so I had to cancel soon after selling. The item sold minutes after it was listed, which was exciting, but the buyer turned from a Dr. Jekyll into Mr. Hyde when I merely refunded him ASAP, upon realizing the horrible mistake I'd made in listing the product for sale to begin with. He flew into a paranoid tantrum claiming I was cheating him by selling the product to "others offering higher prices" and claims he will be suing me "if I do not ?? ...by some Certain unknown time"
He left awful feedback that ebay refused to remove. I already explained in great detail to him why i cancelled the order and had to refund him, but I'm scared. How do I fix this without further angering him and asking ebay to step in to assist with the situation?

-First, since the mistake was yours you will have to live with what happened on the transaction. That may also include a strike on your account.
-You can add that member to your blocked list on this page, check the box to also block communication from them: Buyer management | eBay
They could be so angry at you that they will buy something cheap just to leave more Negative Feedback, that is why you block them.

Mentor4 months agoThe buyer was justified in leaving the negative feedback.
How do you accidentally take pics, write a description and build a complete listing on an item that isn't yours?
