Buyer switched to local pickup after purchase and paying shipping
I'm new to selling on ebay.. so yesterday when a customer wanted to meet locally and pickup items he had already paid for, including shipping, i did so. Now I'm not able to confirm pickup locally. I am still in contact with the buyer, who claims to have contacted ebay and explain he has his items only now he says i need to contact them and provide a number they gave him. I feel strongly that i have been defrauded but do not want to jump the gun. Can anyone help me with what i should do next.. I'm waiting for a representative to call me as i type this. The order totaled $1000. Kinda stressing it.

Mentor9 months agoYou needed to cancel the transaction and relist with the local pickup option for the buyer to use to receive the pickup confirmation code. Best you can do now is mark the item shipped without a tracking number. Of course this will open you to losing any not received case if the buyer is not honest. Hopefully you at least had him sign the invoice/packing slip that they picked up the item.
