Buyer stating false claims
Summary: kingjustavious is facing an issue with a buyer on eBay who claims that the item received was covered in dust, missing pieces, and had burnt contacts. While kingjustavious agrees the item was dusty as it had been sitting unused for over a year, they dispute the claim about missing pieces and burnt contacts, suggesting the buyer may have hooked it up incorrectly. They are struggling to navigate eBay's support system to get assistance from a real person and are seeking advice from others.
OK so I'm new to ebay and I finally made my first sell well buyer is saying that the item i sold him was covered in dust and missing pieces which yes I can agree with it covered in dust but missing pieces and burn contacts definitely not you see i ordered the exact piece over a year ago when it arrived i opened the box realized I ordered the wrong part "it wasn't compatible with my equipment" so I had to take the loss because the person I got it from didn't take refunds so it sat on a shelf in my shop for well over a year so yeah it got some dust on it but the pictures the buyer is showing it's like half of em he shows are showing burnt contacts and I know it's from him hooking it up wrong and frying the part it's gotta be because I never even had it hooked up anyway im my pictures the contacts are nice and silver and in his they're fried ( I'd show pics but im still trying to find out how) anyway I sold it as an open box item which now I see might have been a mistake but that's what it was an opened box item never been used what should I do I've tried getting help from ebay but I can't get past the Ai to talk with real person mean navigating through ebay has been a real struggle for me any body have any advice

I am sorry that happened. When a buyer opens a return for a 'not as described' reason, eBay requires sellers to accept the return
Here's what to do:
1) Accept the return and issue the label
2) Block the Buyer https://www.ebay.com/bmgt/BuyerBlock
3) When the item is returned, inspect it
4) Report the buyer for misusing money back guarantee here: https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/resolving-buyer-issues/reporting-issue-buyer?id=4084
5) Issue a refund
6) Appeal the case to eBay
