buyer states he didn't receive the ebay prepaid shipping label and wants refund now.
This buyer stated that USPS dropped the item on his property and is damaged. I asked to see pictures of the item and the box. He stated "you'll get your pictures when I get a label." I sent a prepaid eBay return label to him. The return label options were USPS and FedEx. I asked him which he preferred. He stated "It can go back the way it came." So I used USPS. He states he never received the label. Through eBay messaging I suggested that he go to "my purchases" and find the item. The return label is probably there. On my end, it shows that it is waiting to be shipped back and he has until April 24 to use the label. Meanwhile, he messaged me that he has been through this game before. I replied that it sounded as if he was the one playing a game. That's when he sent a middle finger emoji.
I chatted with the AI assistant on ebay and it stated not to refund the buyer until I receive the item back.
I also reported the message with the middle finger emoji.
He has been rude from the get-go. There is quite a long eBay message thread.
Should I just wait this out?
