buyer - Shipping question
I have a buyer that requested free shipping. I said yes. Ebay does not allow me to change my listing when I had an offer. Now the buyer has paid for the item including shipping. How do I handle that situation?

You can use the refund option next to the sold item and refund the amount the buyer paid for shipping.

"[T]he fee for the shipping"? Do you mean the price to ship the item to the buyer?
Yes, when you buy the shipping through eBay.
eBay offers sellers the service of paying shipping costs through the eBay platform so that sellers don't have to stand in line at the Post Office or their FedEx or UPS store front.
Somebody has to pay the shipping cost. That's you, especially since you agreed to "free shipping" for your buyer.
However: if you are talking about eBay's fee for allowing you to sell the Thing on eBay,
yes, eBay's Final Value Fee percentage (usually 13.6%) is charged on the total price paid by the buyer.
After you refund the amount of the shipping cost that your buyer originally paid, you will get a small refund from eBay for that percentage of the shipping cost.
