Buyer selected shipping
yesterday I sold something on eBay. When I went to make a label for shipping advantage usps I noticed sinning that read “buyer selected UPS overnightâ€. I never heard of this so I did some research. It seems that I may have listed UPS overnight as the only option and that’s what the buyer had to choose. I don’t know if this is the case or if the buyer has more choices. If UPS overnight is the way I must ship, then I need to cancel the order as having an error in the listing.
Here is my question. I sent a message to the buyer explaining the situation and asking her if she needed the UPS overnight or if it’s ok to ship using USPS advantage, which costs what she paid for shipping. She has not responded. I have until Tuesday to ship and today is Saturday. I wrote to her yesterday. How long should I wait for a reply? If she doesn’t reply do I cancel the order and she gets a refund and find out that way?
sending multiple messages may get her attention but I’m not counting on it.

Mentor1 year agoIf it was for the dishes, yes you had UPS Next Day on it, but that would be what the buyer paid for, so you are obligated to ship that way. Otherwise, if buyer replies to ship it by a cheaper service you will owe them a partial refund for the difference.
