"Buyer selected" shipping
I'm new to selling on eBay and have listed a few items with a flat shipping rate (knowing what shipping service I will be using). One item has sold and it has a "buyer selected" shipping service. I don't recall ever giving the option, and this shipping service is quadruple the cost of the shipping I charged.
Do I have to go with buyer selected shipping?

Mentor2 years agoYour sold listing shows $1.50 using Ground Advantage. You cannot charge your buyer any more than the $1.50. So as not to lose money on shipping, I suggest using calculated shipping, so you enter the weight and dimensions of the package, and let ebay calculate the shipping from your zip code to the buyer's zip code.

Mentor2 years agoThe buyer selected shipping is just standard verbiage. The shipping would be the one you offered in your listing. I notice your last sold listing has ground advantage but only charged $1.50. Ground advantage would start around $4.
