Buyer selected an untrackable shipping option that I did not offer.

Question

I sold a small set of stickers and offered USPS ground advantage or Priority but the buyer was able to select and pay for USPS First Class Large envelope which is significantly less than ground advantage. That shipping is not trackable so eBay will not allow me to send it that way so why would they override my shipping options and offer that?

You made a mistake on the listing, Buyers CANNOT select a shipping method that is NOT offered ... you have the large envelope selected on the listing when you created it. Here is a screen shot of your sold item and it clearly shows a shipping cost BELOW anything that USPS Ground Advantage would be charged for.

We see this a lot, Sellers make mistakes in the area of shipping ... you have to eat the cost of the mistake and ship to your customer covering any higher shipping costs out of pocket. Learn what you did wrong and don't repeat that mistake moving forward.
