Buyer says they did not bid on an item
I was advised by ebay in my selling section that someone had bid on my item and then ebay said that person were the successful bidder. The buyer then said they did not bid on the item and accused me of randomly picking them and sending an invoice. I'm not very keen of being accused of fraud. The buyer has paid for the item but only because the total was £5 and continues to maintain they did not bid and has now left neutral feedback which spoils my 20 year 100% positive feedback.
Have reported this to ebay who have not responded to me being accused of making up a buyer bid, and say the neutral feedback does not contravene their feedback policy. can I do anything or just live with it.
And why are ebay so hard to get hold of? their chat bot kept giving me options that when I moved my cursor over showed a no entry sign
