Buyer says that they didn’t receive package even though it shows on the USPS tracking that the item was delivered. What do I do?
Summary: pin6097 shipped an order that USPS tracking indicates was delivered to a porch, but the buyer claimed not to receive it after nearly a month. Despite positive reviews on the buyer's account, pin6097 is uncertain about how to proceed as the buyer requests a refund or replacement, which is not available. They are seeking advice on how to handle this situation.
I shipped the order last month and it says that it was delivered to the porch of their residence 2 days later(6/26). However, half a month later(7/16), they have reached out to me to say that they didn’t receive the package. I have contacted usps, and they reiterated what the final update says and that the buyer should not have waited almost a month to announce that they hadn’t received their package.
At this point the buyer is asking for a refund or another pair of shirts; which I don’t have. I checked their account and they have positive reviews, so that makes me think they aren’t scammers.
Can someone please help me with what I should do???

Mentor1 month agoIf the buyer opened an "Item not received" case then you enter the tracking number into the case notes and eBay will side with you. Keep in mind that the buyer could ask their payment source for a charge back so the buyer still has an option available.
