Buyer returned fleece jacket dirty covered with dog hair.

I offer free returns can I withhold at least original shipping since this was returned covered inside and out with smelly dog hair?

@wilel-69681 Yes you have Seller Protections because you offer FREE returns.

You need to Report the buyer. The option is in the return request on the lower right ( at least it was the one time I had to use it last year)

Then once you report the buyer for returning an item used then you will see the option to reduce the refund amount by up to 50%. I had to add a photo of the damage the buyer made to the item, it wasn't shipping damage.

Then the buyer can try and get the other 50% from eBay but that won't hurt you. They won't be able to leave negative feedback either. My bad buyer tried and I only knew because the negative symbol on my sold listings page. The feedback wasn't posted though.
