Buyer returned a different stolen iPhone
Hello all,
I recently had a buyer return a stolen iphone to me. I raised up the issue with Ebay and sent them all the pictures/receipt of the brand new phone that I sold showing the IMEI number.
I was suspicious of this buyer and recorded the return package opening showing a different phone which is flagged as stolen.
I sent all this proof to E-bay, multipe calls, cases, talked to the supervisor but they offered no help or refund back to me. They didn't even blocked the buyer or charged him back. Have any of you faced this issue in the past or any suggestions to help me get my money back? It is a $1200 phone.
To me the easiest resolution seemed to be for E-bay to flag the buyer and cancel the return. They didn't help at all.
