Buyer return when no returns stated
I sold Konscious Keto Chocolate Mix: it was new and factory sealed. My ad stated the ingredients only and no returns accepted. Delivery was 2-15-2-24. On April 2, 2024, buyer contacted me to return it stating it is defective because he did not achieve ketosis. He supplied pictures of the open container and it is not damaged. He has used the product but it is difficult to determine the amount. I can't resell it and I do not feel I should refund it because I am not a company representative and did not manufacture it. I think he should contact the company with his complaint.
Am I obligated to give a refund?

Mentor2 years agoEbay has a 30-day Money Back Guarantee. If it was delivered on Feb. 15, he is past the eBay return window and past eligibility for any refund.

ebay's Money Back Guarantee expires 30 days after receipt of the item. Therefore, the buyer should have filed the Returns Request by March 15. ebay can no longer help the buyer.
However, if the buyer paid via Paypal, s/he can file a returns request there as they allow up to 180 days from the transaction.

·2 years agoThe reality is, yes, if he opens a “significantly not as described†(SNAD) return.
A “no returns†policy is overridden by eBay’s 30-day Money Back Guarantee (MBG).
Every buyer on eBay is protected by the MBG.
A “no returns†policy does not mean no refunds.
