Buyer requesting refund after receiving item

Question

If a buyer received an item and signed for it but is requesting a refund and denying received the item but I have tracking details and a photo of item being delivered and signed for what should I do ?

In addition to what @jacbarcollectibles has provided:

-Some Buyers just try that ploy on new Sellers to see if they cave and refund out of panic or fear

-Some packages actually get misdelivered OR stolen from mailboxes and porches, out of your control. You can message the Buyer if they persist (after responding to the claim with eBay tracking) and suggest the contact their local police department if they think the package was stolen.

All you need to do is to enter the tracking number into the case notes and eBay will find in your favor. It would then be up to the buyer to appeal the case by proving that you placed the wrong address on the package. If they cannot do this then they lose.
