Buyer requesting a delay in shipping due to being out of town
Hello, a recent high value item (watch) sold and is supposed to go to an authenticator before being forwarded to the buyer. However, buyer sent me a message requesting me not to send it until October 17 as they are out of town and presumably want to be there when the high value item arrives. It was supposed to ship out today, but of course I'm doing as the buyer wishes. I know ebay tracks this, so I hate to get dinged on shipping on time by following the request of the buyer. Is there some scam that could be going on here as well? Buyer has multiple positive reviews so looks legit. Anyway, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Mentor10 months agoSince the watch is going to the authenticator, the time it takes, will probably end up arriving at the buyer after October 17. I believe it will require a signature, so if the buyer has not yet returned, the package will be held at the Fed Ex office.

OP10 months agoThank you for the reply! I sent a message to the buyer and waiting on a response. Getting insight from eBay itself seems like an impossible task.
