Buyer requested item shipped to another address
Recently accepted an offer for my $6400 watch. After accepting the offer the buyer requested in a message for me to change the shipping address. Having never sold anything on ebay I question the validity of this request and suspect some level of fraud. Should this be a valid concern?

MentorJul 10, 2026 at 3:06 PMYes, you need to send to the SHIP TO address attached to the payment. That would require that you file a cancellation/refund the buyer, and then relist the item so the buyer can repurchase and repay and makes sure s/he submits the correct SHIP TO address before paying.
