Buyer requested I ship to different address
I sold an item and printed off the label. The buyer messaged me and asked me to change the address to have it sent somewhere else. I had already printed off the label so I’m not sure what to do. The person at the post office said the buyer is responsible for changing their address and didn’t feel comfortable with me just changing it. I don’t know what to do????

Mentor3 years agoYou are required to ship to the address provided at checkout (shown in the order details).
First verify that the member ID who sent the message matches your buyer's ID. If it does, you can cancel the transaction (using the reason that there is an issue with the buyer's address), relist, and let the buyer know the new item # so he can repurchase. Remind him to be sure to select/add the correct address when he checks out.
The cancellation option is in the dropdown next to the order transaction.
You'll also want to void the shipping label you already created.
