Mentor9 months agoIt is not possible to delay shipping and avoid the late shipment mark on your account.
Only you can decide if you want to take the late shipping mark or tell the customer no.
For me, this is a hard no.
It is a buyer issue and not a seller issue.
The buyer can do a number of things.
1. Put mail on hold while they are away.
2. Avoid buying if they are not going to be home to accept packages.
3. Have the item mailed to another address (done when purchasing/paying)
4. Have a neighbor or friend pick up the package at their home while they are away.
I just tell customers that eBay requires me to ship in the stated time frame and I give them the above options.
