Buyer requested a return saying the item doesn't match the description or photos
Hi there, I have a very unpleasant situation. The buyer requested a return because the item doesn't match the description or photos. He is saying that the laptop that I sold to him has a big scratch in the center of the screen. This is a big lie. I’m a 100% positive that probably my laptop was opened and maybe even some part was taken away/changed at this moment.
The item the buyer wants to return is covered by eBay Money Back Guarantee, which lets buyers request returns for items they say don’t match the listing description, even when sellers don’t accept returns.
I don't want to accept any return and make a refund at this point and looking for help since somebody is trying to scam me big time. Have 3 days to make a decision.

Refund and let them keep it.
Accept the return, pay return shipping and give a full refund once something is returned.
Either way, you'll be refunding.

OP3 years agoWhat if this something will be different from what I sent to him? Or maybe damaged on purpose? He is saying that the screen is scrached
