Buyer requested a cancellation AFTER I had purchased the shipping label. How do I get reimbursed?
Buyer purchased item with BIN and paid total amount with shipping late last night.
This morning, I purchased a label and was about to put the box in the mail.
20 mins after I bought the label, buyer requested a cancellation.
I initiated a cancellation... Reason: "Buyer asked to cancel"
Buyer was refunded total amount including his shipping.
I paid $10.30 for a label that was never used. How do I get that back?
(Label was purchased through eBay.)

You have 28 days to cancel an unused USPS, FedEx, or UPS label purchased on eBay. It can take up to 21 days for the carrier to approve or reject the refund. If approved, funds will be credited to your original funding source.
eBay standard envelope labels can't be canceled once they have been printed. For more details, please see the eBay standard envelope terms and conditions.
Here's how to cancel a shipping label you printed on eBay:
If your QR code has been scanned at a participating drop-off point to print your shipping label, the label is considered used and can't be canceled.

OP9 months agoOh wow! I didn't know that was possible!
I did download and print the label, but it was never scanned or put in the mail, so I hope it is approved.
Thank you very much. Have a great day!

You're welcome - just remember it takes 2-3 weeks for the refund to come through - it will be posted in your Payments Transactions.
