Buyer request order cancellation

Question

Buyer made an order and requested for cancellation few hours later. I want to approve it but ebay had already taken transaction fee. How do i approve it without being responsible for the transaction fee? The approval option i have will make me pay the transaction fees. Help please!

When you approve the cancellation, the selling fees are refunded. You will see that you only refund the amount that you were paid.

Final Value Fees, Promoted Listing General Fees, International Fees are credited in full if:

The buyer asked you to cancel their order
There was an issue with the buyer's shipping address
