Buyer refused delivery, twice
Hello. I have an issue with an order a buyer placed, and where I paid for shipping via eBay, and the buyer refused delivery and the item was sent back to me. I am unable to reach the buyer to work out a refund, but have been unsuccessful in getting a hold of them. It seems I was also retroactively charged by ebay for the return shipping, which in this case, amounted to 4 separate UPS charges.

Mentor1 year agoThe buyer loses buyer protection if delivery is refused. You do not need to contact the buyer since the buyer owes shipping times 4. How many packages were sent out and returned?

OP1 year agoThank you for the prompt reply. It was one single item, and they live in apartment complex. The buyer stated after the first refusal, that the apartment management office refused the item, and that they were still interested. So, i sent it again (again my my expense since I included shipping in the listing). It was also refused the second time. Ebay held the funds but eventually paid out, i'm guessing cause they thought it was delievered? That is when I noticed the 4 different shipping charges, so my payout was paltry after all the fees.
