Buyer recourse against seller who misrepresented the condition of a vehicle on eBay Motors
Bought a car on eBay from a vintage vehicle restoration company, but the car had many major defects that were not disclosed in the original listing. Car was advertised as "factory stock bumper to bumper". Defects included a partially missing a/c system, a missing smog control system, and many other driver controls. Seller refused to make good on an obvious misstatement of the condition of the car. A complaint was filed with eBay but no update has been provided. How do I get a response to my complaint?

Mentor1 year agoYou should have inspected the vehicle, or had a mechanic with you to inspect the vehicle. With a motor vehicle sale, either party can walk away.
