Buyer receives a package that was damaged and demands that I refund her money. Should this be filed

I sold an onyx box to a person in Florida. She sent a request to eBay for a full refund. I think this should be an insurance claim but eBay said I need to refund all of her money. The box was returned with all the parts.

According to Ebay's Money Back Guarantee for buyers, you are required to refund the buyer in full if they have returned the item.
