Buyer received item but shipping did not update

Has anyone run into the issue where the buyer messaged they received the item but have not accepted it and the shipping shows it is still out for delivery for over a week? I canâ€™t get anywhere with eBay chat and Iâ€™m unsure how to proceed with the difficult buyer

The tracking may not always be updated with the actual one from the carrier (i.e. USPS, FedEx, UPS, etc.) so if there might be any technical disconnect it's a good start to check directly with the specified carrier.
