Buyer Received a Strike Against Them and It Wasn't Their Fault...
Hello Community,
I really Dom't know what to do about this situation. I had a really loyal buyer of mine bid on a bunch of baseball cards. Unfortunately, I contracted pneumonia and was hospitalized for 3 weeks. I informed the buyer that I was hospitalized and that I would be out between 2-3 weeks. I told them to just wait and I would send them a combined invoice, since they were purchasing several cards from me o they could just pay for the order and I could just refund them the difference. They chose to wait and I was okay with it. I set my store to away and I assumed everything was good. I got out of the hospital yesterday and as soon as I got home I sent them an invoice (with combined shipping). Unfortunately, an hour later my 7-day non payment cancellation policy went into effect. In turn, cancelling all 9 auctions that my customer had won and giving her 9 strikes on her account. I feel really bad about this situation because now she can no longer bid on items on Ebay. How do I correct this situation, as this was not her fault? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mentor10 months agoYes, you should have turned off the auto cancel or cancelled the sales and held them for the buyer. Now the buyer will have to appeal to ebay to see what can be done.
