Buyer questions
If an Ebay seller has 12k items sold , positive feedback , lists an item deletes it or maybe eBay did then it shows up under another seller account with even more sold items and positive feedback, then listing gets removed again. what are chances the listing is legitimate?

It could have been legitimate if the first seller sold the item to the second seller, who then ended the listing when it sold outside of eBay.
Or, an item can be legitimate and a listing can be removed by eBay for a policy violation that is not related to the legitimacy of the item itself.
Or one or both the seller accounts could have been hijacked, and the listing could have been listed by the hijacker and subsequently taken down by eBay.
Do the sellers have recent feedback for selling similar sorts of items? Any signs of drastic changes of seller behavior that might point towards a hijacked account?
Is there anything suspicious about the listing itself? Is the seller demanding contact outside of eBay, or payment through an unapproved means? Is the price too-good-to-be-true? Is the seller offering free international shipping of a bulky item where it is unlikely that the seller would be able to make a profit by doing so?
