Buyer provided wrong address and seller has to pay postage?? Not even right city!

Item was returned to me but in trying to cancel E-bay wants me to pay postage. Any way out of this?

Since the buyer submitted an incorrect ship to address, you can refund the item price only.

Try sending a refund instead

1) Go to your Sold order here: https://www.ebay.com/mys/sold
2) Select "Send Refund" from the drop-down list to the right.
3) You will be able to select the exact amount of the refund to send.
4) Confirm the refund

Then you can relist and the buyer can purchase again with the correct address.
