Buyer preferences default setting???
WHY on Earth can't I set my buying preferences as a default? Ever since Buy-It-Now came out, I ALWAYS buy with Buy-it-now+US Only+ Free Shipping. As I do not want to use a scientific calculator to compare and calculate Auction/bid sales+shipping (why is THAT still a thing on here? - it's really tiring and a waste of time IMO), USA only and not slow boat 5 month delivery from china...etc. etc.
This is driving me crazy, I have to click each of the radio buttons each and every **bleep** time I search for something to change my preferences, I dread it and I have NO idea why eBay does this.
Do they think that with people like me, it's going to actually going help sales? Are they insane? This is a HUGE PITA and they should really do something about it.
I tried a chrome extension which said it does this, but it doesn't work...so there's that.
Unless I'm somehow missing something after using eBay (on an old account that I lost the PW to) since 1999 - when signing up for PayPal (the greatest thing since sliced bread on Ebay over accepting money orders and checks!) gave you $5...lol, any suggestions from you guys?
Thanks!

Mentor1 year agoIf you use a desktop browser, there is a browser extension called "eBay item location -- my country only" that overrides eBay's "default" item location.
You can also create a sample search and select the item location, buy-it-now only, and "free shipping" options, then bookmark or save the search.
If you use the bookmarked or saved search as the starting point of your search, you can continue to search using those options by entering new search keywords from the previous search results.
