buyer pickup
How do I make arrangements for pickup of an item if the policy for Ebay is to not share personal information? Do you wait till funds are to Ebay and they provide additional information?

When a transaction occurs with Local Pick up as the choice for the Buyer getting the item eBay ALLOWS you and the Buyer to exchange personal contact information through eBay messaging. I do it all the time on Local pick up sales.
The Buyer can get a QR code and 6 digit code (emailed to them) and then you can scan the QR code at pick with the phone app. I don't use that because I don't have the eBay phone app on my phone. I just use the drop down menu on the Sold item and mark it as picked up - shipped after the Buyer has picked it up.

You should be able to arrange pickup including sharing contact info after your buyer pays for his purchase.
