Buyer pays shipping Q
Hi, I have a question about "buyer pays shipping". I selected this option, entered the correct dimensions and weight, but when it was sold, ebay gave me $11 toward shipping but only offered me $20+ options for shipping labels to print/buy. What did I do wrong?

Your shipping on the Globe is 11.94 flat anywhere in the USA.
USPS charges different amounts based on destination. You need to use Calculated Shipping.
When "the Buyer pays for shipping", that money is given to you/the seller.
- Then you pay for the shipping label.
- The amount the buyer pays for shipping could be more or less than the actual final shipping cost, it is based on the settings chosen in your listing when you created it.
- The amount you pay for shipping is based on the actual final shipping details you enter before you click to print a label.
Be sure to always enter the correct weight and dimensions when you list your item, and use Calculated Shipping. (You should never need to type a price, that means you are using a fixed price shipping.)

Cork Globe with Push Pins, Flags, and Country Pins. 12 x 9 x 9 inches.
The listing shows me $11.94 shipping via Ground Advantage, and I am located in California, and you are in Florida, so the shipping should be less to your buyer (unless s/he lives on the west coast.
You should only be seeing Ground Advantage shipping since that is the only option you offered. The $20 sounds like Priority.

Mentor3 weeks agoMake sure your listing is set to Calculated Shipping. This forces eBay's system to use the weight and dimensions to dynamically charge the buyer based on their specific zip code.
