Buyer pays for shipping, but Iâ€™m charged for ship label

Is there a way to see a clear list of charges hitting my funds? Like an Excel spreadsheet?

I sold an item for $30, buyer paid for shipping $8.99. I had selling fees of $6.50, yet a deposit in my account only $14 and changeâ€¦ I also bought a $10 shipping label for the second item sold, which is why my deposit was lower.

I just want to make sure that eBay isnâ€™t charging the buyer for shipping and charging me for label for the same shipment.

I have been waiting to see how payments are handled before listing more items. Want to get this figured out first.

The buyer pays the total amount to eBay including the item price, shipping and any sales tax.

eBay removes the sales tax and that goes directly to the buyer's state government. eBay also removes any eBay fees for the transaction.

The balance is provided to the seller. From that amount, the seller can pay for a shipping label, since the seller is the one that has a package to ship. Shipping can be purchased directly from the proceeds, even if the payment has not reached the seller's checking account yet.

When a Seller posts a listing for shoes (for example), that Seller might list those shoes for $50, plus $10 shipping. The Buyer then sends the Seller $60. The Seller then uses that $10 to pay for a label to put on their Buyer's package.
