buyer payment dispute
Hi, I received a "Buyer Payment Dispute", on February 01 st...I accepted the Dispute, as an option, in the payment details page, the Item, I never Shipped, Because eBay held my funds...NOW, the Dispute states "waiting for the Buyer to respond"....I just got a notice from eBay Feb 09th, saying, that the shipping/create shipping Label, is overdue as of yesterday. What Do I do...I called eBay on Feb 01 st, and the Live Assistant I spoke to, said Just wait, for eBay to end the dispute, since my Funds are on Hold...and I have never recv'd any Money, to my Bank..why is eBay telling me to ship the product (total 217 dollars)...I never got paid. also, the buyer states, they never saw the item, as if someone was on their account, such as another family member, using their phone, or something.

Mentor2 years ago@classicartcreations Since there is in open dispute you need to respond to it and issue a refund if this was an eBay refund request OR if it's a credit dispute then you did the right thing in accepting the dispute. If it was a credit card dispute then you might also be charged a $20 fee by the credit card company.
You do not understand how selling on eBay works. You are supposed to ship within your stated handling time as soon as eBay says the item is awaiting shipment. Buyers can not just take their money back once you ship as long as you ship WITH tracking.
How fund holds work>
As a fellow seller I understand that waiting for your payout is frustrating.
Fund holds are normal for new and returning sellers.
New or infrequent sellers will experience transaction holds while learning best selling practices. This helps sellers become established and build a strong selling history on eBay. New sellers typically experience holds for up to 30 days, although sometimes it may be longer
You can see the fund holds policy on this page> https://www.ebay.com/help/selling/getting-paid/getting-paid-items-youve-sold/payments-hold?id=4816&st=
