Buyer paid less than actual shipping cost
First time seller here, so help would be kindly appreciated. I listed an item with USPS Ground Advantage shipping offered. The item sold, and the selling details show shipping as USPS Priority and the buyer was charged $8. I printed the ebay shipping label for Priority, and the actual cost was just over $16. I don't know if the buyer changed the shipping method or what happened, but shouldn't the actual shipping amount have been charged to the buyer? What do I do now - and in the future to prevent this from happening again?

The buyer was required to pay the amount of shipping charges that were shown on the listing page at the time they purchased the item.
Did you enter in the correct package dimensions and weight when you created the listing? Did you choose to calculate the shipping charges based on buyer location?
