OP2 years agoHi thank you very much for your reply.
Yes I did a case with USPS. Postal employee from
buyer's post office called me -verified it had been delivered to buyer's address.
She said it could have been picked up by some else
suggested buyer hould ask her neighbors in apt building etc.
If buyer had any more questions, buyer should come into post office.
But pkg was delivered-they have visual confirmation.
I have been ebay messaging buyer with updates but no response from her.
Initially I had ebay messaged buyer with photo of her pkg and the receipt I
got from my post office clerk when I dropped it off. It may seem like an extra step but I prefer to personally hand pkg to postal empoyee even though I already have my prepaid label.
My area does not have residential delivery nor do they pick up pkgs from residences.
Ebay is holding my funds- Should I call them-to find out what their decision is?
or wait and see- Have been selling for over 20 yrs part time and now doing fulltime-this is first time this has ever happened. Overthinking maybe but this is my only source of income. Thank you so much.

You should not need to ask customer service for help. As long as you responded to the claim by entering the tracking # that shows delivery into the claim (not just in your sold orders), the claim should close in your favor in a day or so.

As long as the tracking shows delivery to the zip code on the buyer’s payment, the not received claim will close in your favor.
Let your buyer know that they should go to their PO with the tracking # and ask the clerk to look up the delivery. The scanners have gps, so they can see exactly where the package was delivered. If mis-delivered, the carrier should try to retrieve the package.
