Buyer Not Responding To My Messages
I sold a large 36" doll and buyer paid @$41 for UPS 3rd Day shipping. The box is close to 40" tall and sufficiently wide enough for careful shipping. I live in NC; buyer in CA. When I presented the box to my local UPS shipper, the shipping method requested was $400. Regular UPS Ground was $157. I sent this information to the buyer asking if he would pay the difference for the ground service and,.if not, I would refund his money. Either way, I'll be in the black from this sale but buyer HAS NOT responded to date. I maintain a 100% positive feedback status and need some help if he doesn't reply! Thank you.

Mentor1 year agoYou cannot ask the buyer for more money to cover shipping. When you created the listing, you should have entered the correct weight and dimensions of the package so ebay can calculate the shipping from your zip code to the buyer's zip code. If the buyer will not pay addition funds, and you will not pay out of pocket, you will have to file a cancellation for Out of stock, which will record a defect on your account. Too many defects and a seller can be restricted or suspended.
