Buyer not happy with item. Description is correct.

Question

I have a buyer that bought an item that is vintage and new in package. (New old stock). They are not happy because the item shows age after they opened the package. The item was listed as vintage and now the package is opened and can't be sold as new in package if returned. Do I tell them to return it and take the loss? They may tell e-bay it wasn't as listed and I will be out the money anyway, because e-bay always sides with the buyer. Or do I have any other options?

You offer 30 day returns with the buyer paying the return shipping so you really need to accept the return before the buyer claims not as described. You are going to lose no matter what so try and keep the loss down.
