Buyer not buying
Summary: hustleant is dealing with a non-paying buyer who has purchased 25 trading cards but hasn't completed the payment. The buyer keeps bidding on more items and has requested multiple updated invoices, but payments remain outstanding. hustleant is considering canceling the orders and asks if updating invoices resets the nonpayment period and if canceling will incur any penalties. disneyshopper advises that after 4 days from the last invoice without payment, it's safe to cancel the order without receiving defects.
I have a buyer who has purchased 25 trading cards from me over the course of 2+ weeks and still hasn’t paid.
The buyer has continued bidding on additional auctions and has asked me to keep updating the combined invoice. I’ve now sent approximately 4 invoices and have repeatedly followed up about payment.
I’d like to close out the current order rather than continue extending it while the buyer bids on more items.
At what point can I safely cancel these orders for nonpayment? Does sending updated combined invoices reset the 4-day nonpayment period? And if I cancel using “Buyer hasn’t paid,” will I receive any defects or other penalties as the seller?

Mentor2 weeks agoIf the buyer has not paid 4 days after the last invoice, I believe you can file a Cancellation for Buyer didn't pay. You will not receive any defects for doing so.
