yes! then admitted they it was his own error! then a couple days later he had another issue and he "took it apart again"
I asked him to clearly review the instructions in terms of how to start and stop the pump. I contacted the manufacturer and they said the same thing. Those errors are all user errors

@batt.jerr ,
Did your buyer message you admitting that they damaged the unit and are requesting a refund, or have they filed a dispute? If all they did was ask you for a refund, make sure to save the message.Reply to theor message saying that you are not responsible for damage they caused to happen by misusing the item.
Then if the buyer files a dispute for Not as described, Not working, damaged... ect. you can report them to ebay using the link below.
You can report them for misusing the Money Back Guarantee (MBG) policy. fill in the info and when you get to the Text box write:
"The buyer contacted me admitting they damaged the unit asking for me to accept a return which I refused. Now they have filed a dispute for (reason here). Check the messages between us sent on (day/dates)"
That should be enough for the dispute to be found in your favor.
FYI. Your no returns policy will not fly in the face of ebay's Money Back Guarantee, if a buyer claims an item is not working, arrived damaged etc. Read and save the link below. It is just as important for sellers to know what the policy is as it is for buyers.
